John
Sheppard is cartoonist living in
the Atlanta area. In the late '70s John sold
his first cartoon to The Daily Dope,
a cheap monthly, about sex, drugs and rock
'n roll. He sold his second cartoon to them
also. Then they went out of business.
Since
then Shep's cartoons have appeared in such
places as Georgia Runner, North Georgia
Outdoors Fitness, The Lopergram, Islanwide
Runner, Diocesan Publications, MetLife, Miles
& Minutes, CHERI, D.C. Running Review
as well as numerous online magazines such
as Charlotte Track Club, Catholic Online,
kidsrunning.com,
runthisplanet.com,
therunningadvisor.com.
He also did the characters for Time for Children
Productions, a DVD for moms and their kids.
In addition, Shep provided several illustrations
for ICAN Publishing's Nursing Made Insanely
Easy textbook.
