Force Recon

I guess I’m on a special ops roll with the Army Green Berets, Navy SEALs and now the Marines Force Recon the past week. Again, a tip of the hat to these warriors.

The pressure is on now to come up with a cartoon for the USAF Special Ops Squadrons, Para Rescue or the Combat Controllers.

Remember … if you have any ideas, let me know! Email me or post it right here!!!

Yesterday’s Green Beret comments of course hold true for SEALs … they are awesome.
They are one our leading special ops groups on the front lines in the war on terrorism.

This one is dedicated to Dan Wueger, a good friend and ex-SEAL no longer with us. He served in South East Asia and Europe and who knows where else. Also a great father and husband, he’d do anything to help you.

Godspeed Dan …

Green Beret Qualifications

Only in deepest respect do I refer to Army Special Forces as “snake eaters.” Of course there are the other nicknames like Mallards and Green Beanies but again, I have only the deepest respect for these dudes. Back in the day the Green Berets were looked down on and frowned upon by the powers that be. The conventional higher ups did not know how to to use them or appreciate their unique skills. Alas, look at them today, at the forefront leading the charge in the Global War on Terrorism, along with special ops troops from all the other services.

John Wayne, Barry Sadler and Puff are all smiling down from a nicer place. Well, maybe Puff is still flying cargo runs in some South American garden spot.
