137. Memorial Day 2010

This is for everyone of you out there who has served our country. Yes, some of them are not with us any more, but let’s celebrate their sacrifice by acknowledging those still with us.

Those of you still serving … thank you for what you are doing and stay safe. For those of you who have served … thank you for your service.

God Bless …

136. Kids Argue After School

When I was a kid we’d be arguing about who was better … Yankees or Dodgers or Mets. After school time was soooo looked forward to. There was basketball and football and baseball … nothing else. We played hocley a few times using rhe old fashioned metal clip on roller skates and home made hockey sticks. Guys that couldn’t skate played goalie. If you played golf or tennis you didn’t live in our neighborhood.

Every once in a while we’d talk about what our fathers did for a living. No one had to ask about the mothers because no one’s mom worked in those days!

135. Tall Pilot

This may have been one of those battles that shouln’t have been fought. The poor S.O.B. finaly gets his chance and …. puts his feet thru the nose! I guess there are height guidelines for a reason. Conversely, pilots should be at least tall enough so they don’t need training blocks or seat cushions.
