OK … you can take this two ways. Either I’m poking fun at the small size of USCG vessels or I’m praising them for making great use of what they have and are a cut above everyone else! Yeah, yeah … that’s what I’m talking about! The truth is these guys would go into battle in these vessels and probably come out on top. The USCG enforement teams that board vessels searching for drugs or fighting pirates or rescuing folks are just awesome. Keep it up Guardsmen … your are appreciated!

How’d you like to be wearing those colors on a combat op? Wow … time to get with it folks. Yes, of course they’re ceremonial but still. They could be more up to date and … more importantly … functional. But hey, its only my opinion and we all have them.
