That’s got to be the understatement of the century! I could have seen 2-1 or 3-1 odds but what was this, something like 30-1? Sheeesh. Reminds me of the old comedy routine where the commanding officer asks for all volunteers to step foreward … and then everyone except the poor sap takes a step backward.

Sometimes it’s better we don’t know where the meat came from! However, cooked properly, almost anything will taste pretty good if you’re hungry. I’m reminded years ago when we cooked several venison chops in with the lamb chops and the kids weren’t able to tell them apart. Neither could I.

Large, dark and under the sea. What else could it be? This doesn’t mean those guys (and now gals) serving on subs don’t know what they’re doing. My hat is off to all submariners for their service and devotion. God knows I couldn’t be on one of those for months at a time. Thank the Lord there are those that do.
