While seeming to be a very minor infraction, not writing home could be a pain in the a$$ for your commander.  After getting hurt one time in South East Asia, I did not write my mother because I did not want her to worry. After not hearing from me for 6 weeks … I guess I went too far … she called the Red Cross! They in turn contacted the military who tracked me down to my unit. Not a good ass chewing!!!! I was sore for days. Anyway … have a safe weekend and thank you for stopping by the site.
