I always had to laugh when a 2nd Lt would stop us and reprimand us for not saluting or not saluting properly. Granted, they should be acknowledged and shown the proper respect … they are officers. But they should not lecture troops many years their senior on how to salute. The bottom line is they are officers, period … end of story.
