There are some who would say the DI is a heartless, cruel bastard. They probably are but they are what we need at that time to get us ready for our military career. When I was in Basic we had 2 different ones … a good cop/bad cop situation. Then about 1/2 way thru they switched roles. It was fun watching them assume their new personas!
