Come on, who doesn’t remember playing H-O-R-S-E in basketball? You make a shot, the other guy has to make the same shot. If he doesn’t, he gets an “H” … repeat it again … if he doesn’t make it … het gets an “O.” You go until you’re out with the entire word or if you make the shot, then you go for the shot and the opponent has to make it.

Used to call it D.O.N.K.E.Y you either had to kick a football (soccer ball to you colonials) against a certain part of a wall with one shot with one touch and not to rebound onto you or kick it onto the cross bar of a goal post. If you miss you got a letter.
Ahh the subtle differences between you guys and us “colonials!” The sport and animal is different but the point of the game is the same. 🙂
