Doesn’t every significant other want a desert camo scarf? I think my wife would have been looking for the Persian rugs! My son brought a few back (rugs, not scarfs) … he was smart.

My son sent us a k-bar, a lovely headwrap, and a bit of sand. The sand was a ‘freebie’. Heh.
