Everyone thinks “their” war was tougher than the current one. Contrary to that, all wars suck. Just ask anyone who has been to one.
I can remember being a kid and knowing that every father on the block was in the military during the Big One (WW II). Think about that … practically every adult male on the block I grew up on was a vet. When we played “guns,” we always took the rank our fathers had in the service. Let’s hope that never has to be the case again.
BTW … this is the 50th episode or installment of INCOMING! Wow, time does fly! Let’s shoot for at least 500 more!!!
