This is for everyone of you out there who has served our country. Yes, some of them are not with us any more, but let’s celebrate their sacrifice by acknowledging those still with us.
Those of you still serving … thank you for what you are doing and stay safe. For those of you who have served … thank you for your service.

Amen, thank you to all service personnel, past and present, alive and passed on who have served this nation. You embody the ideals and principles that many others only speak of. Without you, we wouldn’t be here.
As a favorite bumper sticker of mine reads: “If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read it in English, thank a Vet!” 🙂
