Chef’s Surprise … could it be anything like “mystery meat?” I have to admit I did like military chow but there was some stuff we had in Basic I had never heard of before.

I never ate SOS and have not to this day, yet I have a friend who makes it today for himself! Never ate grits either and I’ve lived in the south now for over 18 years. But I did love that Chili Mac … mmm mmm.
